Stories from the field....

"Rachel"

Gentle, wounded child....
You honor me with your touch...
With tender heart and smile so sweet;
God loves you, oh, so much!

This side of Heaven,
I may never again know
Your captivating charms....
  But pray I'll see you There one day
   Embraced in His loving arms.

          Debbie Gillespie and "Rachel"

"One of the lasting, endearing memories of Thailand was this little girl.  Dr. Glover examined her eye and said she would never be able to see with it.  I pray every day she will see Jesus!  Not knowing her name, I call her Rachel, which means "Little Lamb".

This poem was written by Debbie Gillespie during one of her many mission trips.
