Prayer Partner Letter

spacerspacerDear Prayer Partner:

Wow! What a great beginning of 2004. January found me in the greatest pulpits of our day, before thousands of God's sincere children, eager to learn more about prayer. We are now hearing from more readers of this magazine than at any time since it's beginning in 1988.

In this fleeing February our prayer life should be one of high fervor with a note of urgency. Because of the evidence of His mighty, moving, mysterious hand we should pray enthused and rejoice in His mysterious ways. Develop the necessary fervor and faith for these last days! We cannot simply pray as we have sluggishly prayed in the past. Pray with end-time urgency! No longer can we rely on old worn out phrases and methods of boredom that leaves us in despair. I fear that our increased prayerless hours are due to being turned off by worn out cliches that testify of past victories that delivers us not from temptation of these last days.

In this issue we once again develop the though of "Praying Without Ceasing" .... is it possible? Be sure to read comments by Dr. Wolfe. Once again be blessed by a timely message first delivered in the 1800's by Spurgeon. NEXT MONTH'S ISSUE: Is the day of area-wide Evangelistic Crusades over? Message by well known Evangelist Clyde Dupin "Evangelism And Prayer"

Sincerely in the closet,

W. Clyde Martin
