Prayer Partner Letter

 Dear Prayer Partner:

In this issue we will consider the need of prayer for the lost.  Last week I said while preaching in the Galilee Church pulpit; "I personally do not believe that the lost individual will be saved unless some Child of God prays for them."  After the worship hour, seated in my study, I began to question my statement.  My conviction in the matter continues to deepen as I read God's word and discuss the conviction with others.  Please read in this issue "Praying Effectively for the Lost" by Lee Thomas.

We who produce this monthly online magazine are thrilled over the obvious growth of our "circulation".  Thank you for being a regular reader of The Prayer Life.  Please continue to forward the magazine to your mail list.

Thank you for telling us about your newly established prayer closets.  Over 1,000 decisions were reported to us of new prayer closets in 2005.  Since 1988 Matthew 6:6 remains the main and basic purpose for publishing this magazine.  By His grace and for His glory we are asking for 10,000 new prayer closets in 2006.  Jesus said, "if ye shall ask anything in my name that will I do."  E.M. Bounds wrote about this verse..."this is the Divine declaration, and it opens a vista of infinite resources and possibility."  Please join me as we ask this great thing in Jesus name.  Please email me about your prayer closet.

In the closet for you,

W. Clyde Martin
