Prayer Partner Letter

spacerspacerDear Prayer Partner:

Happy New Year! 2004 could be the year in which our Lord Jesus Christ returns. However, until the hour He returns, let's make this new year a year of high priority for prayer. Prayer . . . the very pulse of spiritual living. If one does not give prayer high priority in life, they must be numbered among the teeming thousands who live an undisciplined Christian life with constant troubles that plague and defeat daily living. Jesus said, "Let not your heart be troubled, believe"

In this first issue of this new year I pray that you will be inspired by the messages from some of God's favorite servants; praying men of our day that have much to share on the subject of prayer. . Sam Wolfe, Vander Warner Jr., Miles Bennette. Also in this issue you may read the great New Year's message by C. H. Spurgeon; a message as timely as 2004 yet preached in the 1800's.

I give you a few gleanings from some writings of years past, "Gleanings On Prayer." Ruth's poem and comments in this issue will bless and encourage you. Write her RuthRMartin@webtv.net.

If this issue blesses you please write us. I am most encouraged from the hundreds of replies received each month. You may send your prayer request. Each request is taken personally and confidently to the throne of God in the name of Christ our Lord.

Sincerely in the closet,

W. Clyde Martin
